Types of Magic
[attr="class","section"]
[attr="class","labeltext"]
Black Magic
[attr="class","maintext"]
A black mage is able to harness the powers of magic to create and manipulate the elements. It is an art with the most powerful potential but also the most draining- leveling a small building with sheer magical power would exhaust most of their magical energy for a day.

White Magic
[attr="class","maintext"]
Practicing white magic grants the user the ability to heal the wounds of others. White magic is also able to dispel green magic effects both good and ill. A white mage can even bring the recently deceased back to life, but such a power requires the body to be mostly intact and would drain their magical power for a day.

Green Magic
[attr="class","maintext"]
A green mage has mastery over more subtle forms of magic. They are able to boost the speeds and strengths of themselves and their allies, or curse an enemy with detrimental effects that might hinder them such as slowness or blindness. They also have access to barrier magic to protect themselves from physical or magical attacks. Barriers capable of protecting a small building or a curse that prevents another magic user from casting spells are incredibly taxing on the user.

Red Magic
[attr="class","maintext"]
A red mage is a jack of all trades capable of using limited powers of black, white, and green magic. All of their spells require physical contact with another person. They can channel elements into their hand or weapon, can heal wounds with a touch, and they can create a personal barrier. The destructive level of their strongest magics could destroy a stone wall.

Blue Magic
[attr="class","maintext"]
Blue Magic is often considered a lesser form of magic by other circles, a blue mage uses the essence of a fallen monster to gain two abilities from it. This could be a physical change or a singular magical spell or spell like effect. As an example a Blue mage might learn a fire breath and flight abilities from a dragon. A blue magic ability can even open up unique abilities not covered in other disciplines.
[break][break]
After defeating a monster, a blue mage can try to harvest their essence to combine with their own. If successful, the previous abilities are replaced with new ones.

Beast Master/Necromancer/Mogul
[attr="class","maintext"]
Beast masters are able to charm various creatures to their side and summon them to battle. Necromancers are able to raise a powerful undead abomination to fight alongside them. A mogul might have a paid goon working for them. Much like the blue mage, these classes get access to two abilities. The first ability must be dedicated to a powerful companion NPC the character controls. The second ability can be customized to your liking similar to the blue mage, but without requiring it to be thematic to a particular monster.
[break][break]
These classes may apply to change their companion creature out with staff permission by showing a thread where the new companion will be gained.
